Goldstar GVR-DD1 8mm To VHS Video Cassette Tape Recorder Player - AS IS.
This has been tested, VHS side works great, got it to play , rewind, ff etc no issues, picture was great on my 23” Vizio. 8mm side is trying to work, not sure if it’s the machine or the tape honestly, only have 1 8mm tape and at first it kept rejecting it, I read online the tape itself may be misaligned so I played around with the tape a bit by manually winding it a bit to loosen it up. Following that it accepted the tape but would start to play then stop, which makes me believe it is actually my tape is too tight, as these have a mechanism to stop playing or winding if tape binds up. I don’t have any other way to test it, so selling as is. Cosmetically the unit is fine, very clean overall in fact.
